CAPITAL FUND AND MODERNIZATION
The Modernization Department is responsible for writing and
administering the Capital Fund Grants. The Capital Fund Grants are
given to the Housing Authority to complete capital work items such as
roofs, parking lots, major renovations, etc.
The Modernization Dept. handles all aspects of bidding out the work and
administering the work and paperwork during the contract term.
The Department also handles other grants the Flint Housing Commission
may receive for physical work items in our complexes.
